Job Title: Instrumentation & Controls Technician (Industrial Environment) Location: Manassas, VA Job Type: Full-time, Contract to Direct Hire Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (50 hours/week) with some Saturdays required. Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation & Controls Technicians to join our team. Wire control panels and various field instruments according to specifications and drawings. Work effectively and safely within an industrial setting, understanding its unique demands and protocols. Maintain a high standard of neatness, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks. Qualifications: Proven experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician, particularly in industrial environments. Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and instrumentation drawings. Expertise in wiring control panels and field instruments. Proficiency in performing accurate terminations and comprehensive labeling. Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks. Must be able to work a consistent 50-hour week, including potential Saturdays. Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods. Senior Instrumentation & Controls Engineer Full-Time | Onsite – Midlothian, VA (Richmond Area) An established, privately held engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior I&C Engineer to support heavy industrial projects across sectors like chemical, power, food & beverage, and pharmaceuticals. This is an onsite role focused on design and development of instrumentation and control systems from concept to construction. Key Responsibilities: Design and specify field instrumentation , control valves , DCS , SCADA , SIS , and telecom systems . Develop P&IDs , control narratives , loop drawings , datasheets , and installation details . Perform conduit/cable tray routing , fill calculations , and contribute to cost/schedule estimates . Ensure compliance with NEC , ISA standards , and client requirements. Collaborate across disciplines and lead efforts as Engineer of Record when required. Mechanical Assessor (HVAC/Plumbing) Contract through June 30th, 2026 Location: Eastern or Central Time Zone (Remote on non-travel weeks) We’re seeking experienced Mechanical Assessors with strong HVAC or plumbing backgrounds to support nationwide facility condition assessments . This role is ideal for mechanically skilled professionals who enjoy hands-on evaluation work, light travel, and working with modern reporting tools.
