Schedule: Monday - Friday, 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM (50 hours/week) with some Saturdays required.
Job Summary: We are seeking highly skilled and detail-oriented Instrumentation & Controls Technicians to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in dynamic industrial environments, performing precision instrumentation and control system installations, wiring, and documentation. This role requires an individual who is capable of working efficiently and accurately while adhering to strict safety and quality standards.
Responsibilities:
Perform precise terminations for control wiring and instrumentation.
Execute light instrumentation work, including installation, calibration, and troubleshooting.
Accurately read and interpret electrical, instrumentation, and P&ID drawings.
Ensure meticulous documentation and labeling of all wiring, instruments, and panels.
Wire control panels and various field instruments according to specifications and drawings.
Work effectively and safely within an industrial setting, understanding its unique demands and protocols.
Maintain a high standard of neatness, accuracy, and efficiency in all tasks.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Instrumentation & Controls Technician, particularly in industrial environments.
Demonstrated ability to read and interpret complex electrical schematics, P&ID diagrams, and instrumentation drawings.
Expertise in wiring control panels and field instruments.
Proficiency in performing accurate terminations and comprehensive labeling.
Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
Must be able to work a consistent 50-hour week, including potential Saturdays.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift for extended periods.
Comfortable working in various industrial settings, which may include exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures.
