Qualifications:
Associate’s degree, completion of an apprenticeship program, or a two-year technical/trade school degree is preferred; an equivalent combination of education and 4-8 years of relevant shop experience will be considered.
Proven ability to operate multiple pieces of precision machine tool equipment (e.g., computerized milling machines, cylindrical grinders, surface grinders, and Wire EDM machines).
Strong experience with CNC machining.
Experience with EDM drill machines (e.g., Hole Popper).
Proficiency with DP Technology ESPRIT or equivalent CAM software.
Working knowledge of Siemens NX or other CAD software.

What You’ll Do As a key technical leader, you will:
Lead systems engineering activities including requirements definition, architecture design, integration planning, and verification/validation of industrial automation systems
Collaborate with customers, vendors, and internal teams to align on technical requirements and system functionality
Develop and maintain comprehensive system documentation (e.g., functional specifications, interface control documents, test plans)
Conduct risk assessments and provide mitigation strategies for project success
Review high-risk mechanical and electrical designs to identify and address potential issues
Mentor junior engineers and provide expert technical guidance across disciplines
Manage verification and validation activities including Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and system commissioning

Who You Are

Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement

Technical Skills Required
