We are partnering with a leading engineering and technology solutions provider supporting mission-critical infrastructure across the U.S. This organization delivers innovative systems across power, automation, cybersecurity, and complex facilities, with a strong focus on reliability, safety, and long-term impact.

About the Role:

We’re seeking a Control Engineer to support the design, development, and implementation of advanced control systems across utility, infrastructure, and industrial environments. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex, high-impact projects involving SCADA, grid management systems, and automation technologies.

This is an excellent opportunity for engineers who enjoy solving complex problems, working cross-functionally, and contributing to systems that power and protect critical infrastructure.

What You’ll Do:

  • Design and develop control system solutions, including PLCs, RTUs, HMI, and SCADA platforms

  • Support system architecture, requirements analysis, and technical documentation

  • Lead or contribute to programming, configuration, and troubleshooting efforts

  • Develop and execute testing and commissioning procedures (factory and field)

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver integrated system solutions

  • Support upgrades, maintenance, and optimization of existing systems

  • Assist with cost estimates, proposals, and technical reviews

  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinate technical tasks when needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience in control systems engineering within utilities, infrastructure, or industrial environments

  • Hands-on experience with SCADA, EMS, ADMS, DERMS, or similar real-time systems

  • Familiarity with PLC programming and industrial communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, etc.)

  • Exposure to one or more platforms such as Siemens, GE, ABB, Schneider, or similar

  • Strong understanding of electrical/control schematics and system integration

  • Ability to troubleshoot, test, and commission control systems

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred but not required)

  • Typically 5+ years of relevant experience (we welcome candidates with different backgrounds who can demonstrate comparable skills)

Why Consider This Opportunity

  • Work on high-impact, mission-critical infrastructure projects

  • Collaborative environment with strong technical mentorship

  • Exposure to cutting-edge technologies in power systems, automation, and cybersecurity

  • Opportunities for growth into technical leadership or architecture roles
