Electrical BIM/VDC Designer — Remote

Are you a Electrical BIM/VDC professional who wants to help project teams reduce clashes, improve field execution, and deliver accurate, buildable electrical models for complex construction projects?

We are seeking an experienced Electrical BIM/VDC Designer to support complex construction projects through accurate 3D modeling, coordination, and field support. This role is ideal for someone with strong Revit skills, electrical trade experience, and hands-on knowledge of LOD 350–400 electrical modeling.

What You’ll Do

• Create and maintain detailed electrical 3D models in Revit
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and MEP teams
• Perform clash detection and support issue resolution using tools like Navisworks
• Support field teams remotely with model updates, 3D scans, sleeve drawings, embedded field points, and shop drawing coordination
• Prepare drawings, schedules, and technical documentation
• Ensure model accuracy, quality, and compliance with project standards
• Use BIM/VDC tools such as BIM360, AutoCAD, and Navisworks

What We’re Looking For

• 2+ years of VDC/BIM construction modeling experience
• 2+ years of electrical project coordination experience
• Proficiency in Revit
• Experience with LOD 350–400 electrical work
• Electrical trades experience
• Ability to read and interpret construction documents
• Experience with sleeve drawings, embedded field points, and shop drawings
• Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
• Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a remote environment

Preferred

• Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM360 experience
• Knowledge of MEP coordination
