We are seeking a dedicated Professional Engineer (PE) for an hourly position in our Richmond office. Key Responsibilities

  • Site Development Lead: Manage land planning and infrastructure projects for local Richmond-area clients.
  • Technical Design: Utilize AutoCAD Civil 3D to create detailed designs for grading, stormwater management, and utilities.
  • Permitting & Compliance: Navigate the specific regulatory landscapes of the City of Richmond and surrounding counties like Henrico and Chesterfield.
  • Client Management: Serve as the face of the firm for project updates, site visits, and agency meetings.

Qualifications

  • Licensure: Must hold a valid Professional Engineer (PE) license in Virginia.
  • Experience: 4+ years in civil engineering with a focus on land development or municipal projects.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution.
  • Local Knowledge: Familiarity with Virginia stormwater regulations and Richmond-area zoning ordinances.
