Maintenance Supervisor (Contract Position)
Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM (second shift, overtime available)
Duration: 6-month contract, with potential for extension or permanent hire
Location: Richmond, VA

About the Role
We’re partnered with a leading manufacturer seeking a hands-on Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of 6–8 maintenance technicians on second shift. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual to step into a leadership role supporting all facility and equipment maintenance needs while gaining valuable experience in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily maintenance activities across the plant.

• Provide direction and support to maintenance technicians to ensure timely completion of all preventive and corrective work.

• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues to minimize downtime.

• Maintain documentation of all work performed, equipment reliability, and safety compliance.

• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to plan and schedule maintenance projects.

• Promote safety, efficiency, and quality within the maintenance department.

Qualifications

• Maintenance experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting.

• Prior leadership or supervisory experience is preferred.

• Solid understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Strong troubleshooting and communication skills.

• Willingness to work second shift (3 PM–11 PM) and occasional overtime.
