Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer - HVAC with a strong background in the design of HVAC systems for commercial buildings. This is a production-focused role for a skilled engineer who enjoys hands-on design work, client interaction, and site inspections.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design HVAC systems for commercial buildings in collaboration with architects and clients.

  • Develop and review designs for hydronic systems, including chilled water, hot water, and steam.

  • Incorporate building automation systems into designs.

  • Conduct site inspections and ensure compliance with design intent.

  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with clients and project teams.

  • Utilize AutoCAD and Revit in design projects.

  • Perform cooling load calculations using Trace 700 (energy modeling experience is a plus).

 

Work Environment

  • Primarily remote/flexible schedule.

  • One mandatory in-office day per week (Wednesdays).

  • Minimal overnight travel required.
