  • Interpret plans and explain contract terms clearly to staff, workers, and clients.

  • Prepare contracts, negotiate changes with architects, consultants, clients, and subs.

  • Direct and mentor workers—delegate to foremen/techs and develop Electrical Tech II/III for promotion.

  • Monitor budgets for positive cash flow and profitability.

  • Inspect work to ensure compliance with building/safety codes and regulations.

What You Bring

  • 7+ years electrical industry experience, including 2+ years as project foreman.

  • High School diploma or GED.

  • Hands-on experience with scheduling, job cost reports, estimating, safety docs, and quality control.

  • Proven ability to oversee monthly job cost updates and quarterly cash flow projections.

  • Strong leadership and manpower planning—hit objectives without labor spikes or excessive OT.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication.

  • Comfortable working independently with your own tools.

  • Clean driving record (company vehicle use); pass background check.

Physical Abilities (The Reality of Site Work)

  • Lift 100 lbs once, 60 lbs for extended periods.

  • Relocate 12-ft stepladders solo.

  • Work safely at heights up to 60 ft (scaffolds, lifts, catwalks, ladders).

  • Routine walking, climbing, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing/pulling, overhead reaching.

  • Good vision/color perception, hearing, and English communication.

Problem-Solving Abilities

  • Spot issues before they escalate.

  • Apply rules to real-world scenarios.

  • Connect dots between seemingly unrelated events.

  • Inspect details up close.

  • Understand spoken instructions clearly.
