We’re seeking an experienced Electrical Designer II to join a growing engineering team supporting heavy industrial, oil, gas, and chemical facility projects. This is an opportunity to play a key role in full-scope electrical system design—from concept through detailed drawings—while working alongside talented engineers in a collaborative environment.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop complete electrical designs at the drawing level for industrial and facility-based projects

  • Design power distribution systems, panelboard schedules, grounding, and protection systems

  • Coordinate power utilization connections across facility systems

  • Perform and document lighting calculations, load calculations, and voltage drop calculations in compliance with applicable codes

  • Support fire alarm, telecommunications (EIA/TIA standards), CCTV, and intrusion detection system designs

  • Apply knowledge of industry codes and standards, including NFPA, UL, ASHRAE, and building codes

  • Assist Lead and Senior Electrical Engineers with client coordination and system selection

  • Conduct field inspections and prepare detailed reports

  • Perform quality control reviews of your own designs and those prepared by others

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineering leadership to ensure deadlines and submission requirements are met

What You Bring

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (required)

  • Minimum of 4 years of electrical design and drafting experience

  • Strong working knowledge of building systems and applicable electrical codes

  • Experience in industrial, oil, gas, chemical, or heavy facility environments preferred

  • Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record

  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship
