Are you an experienced, certified HVAC professional tired of unpredictable hours and constant after-hours calls? We are looking for a skilled HVAC Installation Technician to join our client's dedicated team in the Charlotte, NC area.

The Opportunity: What You'll Do

As our HVAC Installation Technician, you will be the key player in modernizing the comfort systems within our residential apartment units.

  • System Installation & Replacement: Execute the full removal and installation of air handlers and condensing units in occupied and vacant apartment homes.

  • Quality Assurance: Perform thorough system startups, testing, and quality checks to confirm new installations are operating flawlessly and efficiently.

  • Production & Efficiency: Maintain a commitment to safety and quality while aiming to complete 2 full change-outs per day.

  • Team Collaboration: Communicate proactively and effectively with management and team members to ensure a seamless, efficient workflow.

The Ideal Candidate: What You'll Bring

This role requires hands-on experience, technical skill, and a commitment to quality.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3-5 years of proven experience in residential HVAC installation and repair.

  • Certifications: Must possess a valid CFC/EPA Type II or Universal Certification.

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in using standard HVAC tools and comfortable using mobile devices for job management and documentation.

  • Soft Skills: Strong focus on customer service, excellent problem-solving, and clear communication skills.

  • Transportation: Valid driver’s license and reliable personal transportation (a company vehicle will be provided for the job).

Physical & Environmental Requirements:

  • Ability to work comfortably in both occupied and vacant residential units.

  • Physical capacity to lift up to 75 lbs, work in varying environmental conditions (attics, crawlspaces), and safely use ladders.
