Job Title: Quality Control Manager

Job Description:
A Quality Control Manager is needed to oversee construction quality assurance efforts and ensure all work meets project specifications, codes, and client expectations. This role is critical in maintaining compliance with contract requirements and applicable standards, including EM 385-1-1.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain project-specific Quality Control Plans
Conduct daily inspections and prepare detailed quality reports
Coordinate and manage all QC activities, including third-party inspections and testing
Ensure subcontractor work aligns with approved submittals and project specs
Document and track deficiencies, non-conformances, and corrective actions
Support pre-construction meetings, progress meetings, and punch list development
Maintain accurate and up-to-date QC documentation and logs
Work closely with project management and field teams to resolve quality issues promptly
Enforce compliance with EM 385-1-1 and applicable building codes and standards
Participate in project close-out, including preparation of as-builts and O&M manuals
Qualifications:
Minimum 3 years of quality control experience in commercial construction
Strong knowledge of construction methods, specifications, and codes
Familiarity with EM 385-1-1 requirements
Excellent documentation, communication, and organizational skills
Proficiency with construction management and QC software
QC certification or equivalent credentials preferred (e.g., CQM-C, ICC, etc.)
Must be detail-oriented and able to work independently in the field
