We're a recruiting a Color Matcher in the Richmond VA area to join a leading innovator in the ink industry. While specific experience in ink color matching is a plus, it's not a requirement. We believe that the right aptitude and a willingness to learn are far more important.

What You'll Do:

As a Color Matcher, you'll be at the heart of our production process, ensuring our inks meet the exact color specifications the clients demand. You'll work with a variety of pigments and bases, using your keen visual perception to:

• Accurately match colors to customer samples and established standards.

• Formulate new color blends and adjust existing ones to achieve precise hues.

• Conduct quality control checks on ink batches, ensuring consistency and adherence to specifications.

• Collaborate closely with our production and R&D teams.

• Maintain meticulous records of color formulations and adjustments.

What We're Looking For:

We're seeking individuals who possess:

• Exceptional Color Acuity: A proven ability to differentiate between subtle color variations. (You might even be one of those people who can spot all the colors in a rainbow!)

• Strong Attention to Detail: The ability to work with precision and accuracy, ensuring every batch is perfect.

• Problem-Solving Skills: A knack for analyzing color discrepancies and finding effective solutions.

• Mathematical Aptitude: Comfort with basic calculations for formulation adjustments.

• Excellent Communication Skills: The ability to clearly articulate observations and collaborate with team members.

• A Desire to Learn: We're committed to your success and will provide comprehensive training to the right candidate.

• Previous experience in a role requiring high visual discrimination (e.g., photography, art, graphic design, quality control in other manufacturing industries, even highly detail-oriented hobbies like painting or makeup artistry) is a plus, but not essential.
