Responsibilities:

Ensure proper receipt of material from outside vendors, manufacturing and assembly.

Ensure packaging of material for shipment to customers is done in an efficient and safe manner.

Ensure that parts stocking is done in an accurate and acceptable manner.

Utilize equipment and work practices for best efficiency and productivity.

Complete necessary clerical duties associated with accurate filling of customer orders for both internal and external customers.

Operate power and hand trucks in materials movement.

Perform work safely, adhering to company safety standards. Keep work area clean.

Physical Requirements:

Individual must be able to lift 25 pounds on a frequent basis during an eight-hour shift. Lifting up to 80 pounds is occasionally required. Must be able to stand on feet for entire eight-hour shift.

Education, Training and Experience:

High school graduate or equivalent, with good basic clerical skills. Prefer at least two years experience in materials handling.
