Industrial Maintenance Technician | 1st Shift

MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
Experienced in installing, maintaining, and repairing machinery, equipment, and physical plant systems. Skilled in troubleshooting, performing preventive maintenance, and ensuring operational efficiency across mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and structural systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct visual inspections and testing of machinery and equipment to ensure proper function.

• Monitor equipment for unusual sounds to detect malfunctions and collaborate with supervisors or maintenance staff to diagnose and resolve issues.

• Dismantle defective machines and equipment, installing new or repaired parts to restore operation.

• Perform cleaning and lubrication of shafts, bearings, gears, and other mechanical components.

• Install and repair electrical apparatus, including transformers, wiring, and electronic components of machinery and equipment.

• Lay out, assemble, install, and maintain pipe systems and related hydraulic/pneumatic equipment; repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, and associated systems.

• Apply extensive experience in industrial maintenance, including work with electric motors, hoist systems, PVC/steam plumbing, pumps, bearings, and hydraulic systems.

• Demonstrate a strong work ethic with a hands-on approach—willing to turn a wrench and get the job done.

• Install, program, and repair automated machinery and equipment such as programmable controllers (PLCs).

• Set up and operate machine tools (lathe, grinder, drill, milling machine) to repair or fabricate parts, jigs, fixtures, and tools.

• Operate cutting torches and welding equipment to cut or join metal parts.

• Fabricate and repair counters, benches, partitions, and other wooden structures.
