Set-Up Mechanic (1st shift)
Location: Buffalo, NY
Weekly Pay
Shift: 1st Shift | 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | Mandatory Weekends/OT as Needed
About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Set-Up Mechanic III to join our 1st shift team. This role involves setting up, repairing, and maintaining complex manufacturing equipment while ensuring production efficiency. You'll also train and mentor junior mechanics and support overall production goals.
What You’ll Do
- Set up, repair, and perform preventative maintenance on machinery
- Use hand and power tools for adjustments and part replacements
- Troubleshoot mechanical issues and assist with process improvements
- Train and mentor team members
- Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards
What We’re Looking For
- 5+ years of related experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Technical degree preferred)
- Proficiency in automation, machine operation, PLCs, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work in a hands-on environment
