Assistant Project Manager - Medical Facility Construction

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Project Manager to oversee the construction of a medical facility in the mid-Atlantic region. This role involves managing the daily operations, supervision, and coordination of the project to ensure its successful completion while meeting contractual commitments, including time, cost, safety, and quality objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in managing the construction of a medical facility, ranging from $500,000 to $40 million.
• Support project teams in the planning, execution, and delivery of the project on time and within budget.
• Help coordinate project activities, manage change orders, and ensure adherence to safety and construction standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and subcontractors to maintain project progress and resolve issues.
• Utilize project management and scheduling software (e.g., MS Project) for tracking and reporting.

Required Qualifications:

• Extensive experience managing commercial construction projects.
• Experience in medical facility construction is a plus, but not required.
• Strong people skills with experience in estimating, change orders, and revisions.
• Proven ability to lead operations and facility maintenance projects.
• In-depth knowledge of construction project management principles, safety standards, and engineering practices.
• Proficiency with project management and scheduling software.
