EH&S Manager – Steel Mill

PeopleSolutions is seeking an experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EH&S) Manager to lead all EH&S operations for a large steel manufacturing facility. This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for driving safety, environmental compliance, and regulatory programs across the entire plant.

Responsibilities

• Lead all Environmental, Health & Safety programs and initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable regulations.
• Oversee environmental compliance, air emissions, pollution control, hazardous waste, and permitting.
• Manage furnace safety, machine guarding, LOTO, confined space, and industrial safety programs.
• Lead safety training, audits, inspections, incident investigations, and corrective actions.
• Partner with plant leadership to build and maintain a world-class safety culture.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of EH&S leadership experience in heavy industrial manufacturing.
• Steel mill, foundry, metals, mining, power generation, or similar industry experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA, EPA, environmental compliance, and machine safety.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to drive safety performance and regulatory compliance.
